Michael Baddeley “Mike”
Mike started the business 20 years ago, having recognised the power of the internet as a marketing tool. With a solid family background in business and retail, he has a very good understanding of how to use the web for business. He is in charge of marketing and Internet consultancy.
Mike’s key roles are in designing web strategies through consultation with clients, and in managing the development process.

Nickalaus Clark “Nick”
Nick focuses on developing specifications for our new products and web projects, particularly around technology and innovation. He also project manages the subsequent development process. As part of this Nick examines client requirements and suggests possible solutions. He works with the clients until a satisfactory outcome is created, whether involving existing tools or creating new ones to fit the bill.

Senior Web Developer
Cook has been a senior developer at Wired for quite a few years now, and has worked on many of our most significant website and application development projects in that time.

Miles began making shopping websites and client-edited content systems in 2000. He started with a large company in 2002, developing content management, data entry and reporting systems for their intranet. In 2008 he moved to Wired as a developer of database-driven websites and intranet systems.
His skills include ASP.NET, MS-SQL, HTML and CSS. He also has past experience with PHP, MySQL and ASP.
- Diploma of Computer Engineering (Avonmore).
Jacky has been working in the Web industry for eight years and is the lead developer of SmartestMail and other internal development projects.
His skills include ASP/ASP.NET programming and Flash development.

Web Developer Vacancy:
We’re after a web developer with C# and ASP.NET MVC, jQuery skills.
The successful applicant will be designing and developing website and web services using ASP.NET and C#.NET on the .NET 4.0 framework

Stuart Webb “Stu”
Senior Web Designer
Stu has been with Wired for since the mid 2000s. He is a very skilled interface designer and web site builder, creating HTML and CSS designs that maximise the user experience while connecting the site with underlying databases and complex information structures.
His main role is in designing web interfaces for clients. He is also involved in project management, is the chief trainer in the use of Wired products, manages the help desk, and advises clients on content.
- Diploma in Digital Design (CPIT).
Sam works primarily with web layout, design and build, content management, Analytics, HTML newsletters, and HTML5 development. Lately he has also pioneered our work on mobile compatibility and providing video using HTML5 techniques.
In addition to this Sam is a skilled animator and has a background in print and web design, and large format imagery.
He’s also the lead guitarist in a band named Sounds of Vengeance.

Kitty is a talented web designer and our resident WordPress specialist. She handles all aspects of website building in the WordPress platform, from template creation and customisation, design, layout, automation and plugin integration, to user management and access control. She also works with building sites using the Magento e-commerce platform.
Before Wired Kitty worked in graphic design and website development in the tourism publishing industry.

Dr Bruce Russell
Bruce manages our website usability process and delivers this in a partnering role. When he’s not making the rough edges smooth he’s at Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology (CPIT) where he is head of the Art and Design School at CPIT.
He has lectured in information management, communication research and theory, and usability testing, and is currently studying towards a doctorate. His professional background is as an archivist, and he has worked as an editor, web content writer, information architect, and usability tester.
As well as teaching, Bruce undertakes consultancy work, mainly around website evaluation, information architecture and user-centred procedure design. He is also the judge of the BIWA and author of Preparing for Take-off a guide to effective online communication, published by Wired Internet in 2010.

Hamish is a highly qualified and experienced IT Management Consultant, with extensive experience and involvement in information technology and management for the past 17 years.
Hamish has experience with information management systems, including SharePoint; identification of user requirements and development of stakeholder engagement and user adoption strategies.
His specialities include: IT management consulting, IT value optimisation, strategic analysis and planning assistance, service design and process management, portfolio, programme and project consulting, innovation and quality management, and organisational change management.
